Reset Your Mood and Regain Control

Reset Your Mood

Author: BeingEve

With so many changes going on in our lives right now, coupled with the changes happening in your body and your mind during menopause, it can be hard to stay positive and keep focused on what it is you want from your life. But this is a great time to take stock and spend some valuable ‘me’ time thinking this through.

To help you, we have created a 14-Day ‘Reset Your Mood Challenge’ to help you regain a positive mindset, create balance and focus on you and the areas of your life you want to change or improve.

This challenge will help you establish good habits, and hopefully will stop being a challenge to become a part of your daily life!

You don’t need any special equipment – simply download our Workbook here: Reset Your Mood-14 day workbook_2020.

How it Works

You start this challenge with a busy first few days which will set you up well for the next 14 and beyond. We recommend that you pick a time when you will be undisturbed, feel awake and refreshed, and ready to go!

1: Complete Your Wheel of Life

You’ll start to think holistically about areas of your life using a technique called the ‘Wheel of Life’. It challenges you to think about how you feel about your life right now and what areas are causing you stress or not making you happy. Women who have created their ‘Wheel of Life’ tell us it has given them some of the greatest clarity about their lives they have ever experienced.

2: Setting Your Goals

You need to decide upon the three areas of your life from your wheel that you want to work on most during the challenge. Once you have decided on three areas, the challenge gets you to create vivid goals to work towards over the next 14 days and beyond. Goal setting is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future, and for motivating yourself to turn your vision of this future into reality.

3: Creating your ‘Start the Day Ahead’ Morning Routine

Starting the day feeling positive means you are more likely to continue feeling that way for the rest of the day. That’s why we’re encouraging you to create a morning routine as an essential habit for your mind, mood, and general well-being. Throughout all stages of your menopause – whatever changes your body is going through or emotions you have to deal with – a morning routine can be a steady constant in your day.

4. Taking Daily Action

Finally, we’ll ask you to create the habit of doing something every day on the areas of your life that are most important to you, creating the changes you want. Work out one action you will take during the day to work towards your goals, and decide when in the day you are going to do them.

This Reset Challenge is all about you regaining control of your moods and establishing habits and daily behaviours that keep you feeling positive and feeling good.

Best of luck and let us know how you get on.
